Drive: 88km; total: 1266km
Walk: 3.8km
Ride: 15km
A huge drive for us today! Due to the short distance we had to travel today, we took our time in departing - didn't leave until 9:50am! Wendy had a bit of work admin to complete so it was good that we had the time to be able to do it.
We were checked in and on-site by 11:10am at Discovery Parks Dubbo, quite near the Dubbo Western Plains Zoo. Setting up did not take that long and we were soon having lunch and then tried to have a snooze but the kids next door did not have their inside voices on. We are on a drive-thru site, on the end of the road, which is very fortunate as we can put our awning out, whereas some of the others can't; quite extraordinary why you would make sites this small. We guessed that it is because the park is very close to the zoo which makes it very attractive for those wanting to visit the zoo, so they stack 'em in.
Wendy gave the washing machine another good work out doing clothes and towels; seems to be going OK. Greg went off on his bike as his legs were twitching not having ridden for a while. He went off in search of Bunnings, so goodness knows when he will be home!
Greg did eventually come home and after some chatting and doing not much of anything, we had another early dinner then waited for everyone else to have their dinners and go to bed.
