Ride: 20km
It wasn’t quite as cold this morning so we were up a bit earlier. After attending to some chores we hopped on the bikes and rode into the city to Victoria Park. This is where the Cenotaph is and it is very nicely done; surrounded by rosemary and red petunia to symbolize the red poppies - nice.
There is also a lovely water fountain in a pond and then a miniature fountain in a smaller pond. Victoria Park is very well maintained and really nice place to ride the bikes or even have a slow wander.
Back to the van for lunch and an LLD. Wendy's mum and dad had arrived in the park just after lunch so we visited them in their cabin. It was then time to prepare dinner which we had at the van. After dinner we went back to the cabin to wait for Wendy's brothers and families to arrive. Kevin &Co arrived about 7:30pm and Dale &Co arrived just after 10pm. It was a late night for all.
