19-28 degC, fine, sunny and just beautiful
Walk: 1.5km & 6.5km
Whilst breakfast was had, the washing machine in the van did it's second wash ever, and it did a good job. Took 30 minutes, about the same as a big washing machine. Much better than the stupid thing we had last year. Breakfast and washing done it was time to clean and tidy the van (Wendy) and shop for groceries and fuel (Greg).
Good friends Kerri and Corey Monaghan (both ex-RAAF) came for lunch. We had it at the cafe/restaurant Sea Salt and Vine which is right outside the front gate of the van park. We had lovely meals and a fantastic catch up. We then came back to the van for another glass of wine for the girls, and coffee for the boys. K&C didn't end up leaving until 4pm. Thank you K&C for changing plans at the last minute and coming out to see us.
Not long after, Greg left for his MP reunion dinner in the city. He decided to drive tonight as the trains are not running due to track work and it was going to take over an hour and a half to get into the city by bus!

Tomorrow we head for Dubbo over a few days; who knows where we will end up.
